Who we are
Balance Squared Accounting Services Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202509204G) (“we”, “us”) provides accounting, tax, payroll and related compliance services in Singapore. This notice explains how we handle personal data under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
What we collect
When you contact us we collect what you give us: your name, company, email, phone number, the services you are interested in and your message. If you become a client, we collect the information needed to provide our services, as set out in your engagement letter. This may include identity documents, payroll details and other information needed to meet our legal obligations.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote
- To provide and manage the services you engage us for
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including record-keeping and customer due diligence
We will not use your details for marketing unless you have agreed to it, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business (such as email, file storage and accounting software providers), with government agencies where required, or with your consent.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept only as long as needed for the purpose or as required by law. Client records are kept for as long as required by law and our professional obligations.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable security measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, use or loss.
